Supernatural Season 15, Episode 2 images show fan-favorite characters are back

Two fan-favorite characters are returning for Supernatural Season 15, Episode 2. One of the returns has us curious about a particular new character.

Supernatural Season 15, Episode 2 images are out. If you don’t want any spoilers, you’re going to want to turn away now. Otherwise, we’re delving into the returning characters for “Raising Hell.”

One of those characters is a little easier to guess the reasons for the return than the other. We’re talking all about Rowena, here. The last we saw of Rowena, she’d been possessed by Apocalypse Michael after agreeing to the possession in the hope that her friends would be saved. Yes, the Winchesters have become her friends. Jack ended up saving her by destroying Michael.

It’s likely that she’s being brought in to help the Winchesters and Castiel with the current situation. God has brought back the souls of Hell, and it looks like there are new problems as well as old ones.

One of those new problems is a certain guy in a suit that we have never met before. He’s included in one of the images for “Raising Hell,” and we get a clearer look at his clothes. Boy, they’re dirty and vintage!

The caption for the image finally gives us an actor and character name: Lane Davies is playing Francis Tumblety. Name ring a bell? It’s one from history and connected to Jack the Ripper. We’ll touch more on that in an upcoming article, but it certainly suggests that Hell is literally being raised in this episode.

But what’s even more curious is how a certain fan-favorite character is connected to him. Osric Chau returns as Kevin Tran in Supernatural Season 15, Episode 2. How? And is he somehow coming back from Hell?

I get the feeling this Kevin isn’t our Kevin. His clothes are dirty and worn. Is it possible that this is the Kevin from the Apocalypse World? After all, becoming a suicide bomber for an archangel would certainly send your soul straight to Hell, right?

The problem is Hell and Heaven are different in the various dimensions. This could suggest that there’s some more world combining, which would be in God’s powers, or The Empty could come into play, which I’m assuming is one place for the entire universe of dimensions.

Either way, we have a lot of speculating to do for Episode 2. Are you ready to raise a little hell?
