We are onto the last episode of The Resident in 2019. FOX airs The Resident Season 3’s fall finale tonight, and tensions are high.
It looks like Conrad is back in the firing line. Of course he is! This is a guy who blew the top off the situation with the drug that was killing people. Red Rock doesn’t want great doctors like him around, and it will do everything possible to get rid of him.

Naturally, Conrad won’t go down without a fight. And he’s not fighting alone. He has friends that will help get him out of this, that will back him up. Even Devin is back on Conrad’s side, opting to lie for him at the deposition instead of turning him in for torturing a patient for information.
Meanwhile, Bell learns a dark secret about Cain. To improve his survival rates and continue to add profits to Red Rock, Cain has been keeping braindead patients alive. It’s a sick method and Bell is going to attempt to take Cain down. The problem is that the board does love Cain. After all, Cain makes money.

Will Bell be able to take the narcissistic, horrible neurosurgeon down? NOw that Bell isn’t the CEO anymore, he’s going to have less power around the hospital, and he’s going to need to make sure he’s got as many friends by his side as possible.
When it comes to medical cases, Conrad and Devon have a tricky one. A suicidal patient needs a liver transplant. Will this patient even want to accept the liver transplant? And if so, will the liver go to waste? It’s a moral dilemma as the doctors want to keep a patient alive but the patient doesn’t want to be alive.

"On Devon’s last day as an intern, he and Conrad are faced with a moral dilemma over a suicidal patient who is in need of a liver transplant. When Bell discovers that Cain is keeping braindead patients alive in order to boost his survival rates and add to Red Rock’s profits, he decides to take matters into his own hands. Meanwhile, Adaku goes into early labor, causing a strain on her heart and Mina is left in doubt over how to best handle her care."
