Grey’s Anatomy Season 16 is officially on its way to Netflix next month. Here’s everything you need to know.

Grey’s Anatomy Season 16 is headed to Netflix much sooner than anticipated. This comes after the season was cut short by four episodes due to production shutting down. Nevertheless, Grey’s fans can enjoy watching (or re-watching) all 21 episodes next month!

That’s right, Netflix has revealed that Grey’s Anatomy Season 16 will be available to stream in its entirety on Saturday, May 9, 2020. That will be a good weekend to have nothing to do considering Charmed Season 2 drops the same day, and Dead to Me Season 2 premieres on May 8.

Grey’s Season 16 featured a crack in the Grey Sloan family when Alex Karev and Richard Webber explored their new careers at a different hospital. We also saw a new side of Meredith Grey’s life when she wasn’t allowed to practice medicine.

Season 16 also had its fair share of love triangles (and love squares?), as well as pregnancy drama galore. It seems as if the fanbase opinion is split over the stories that were presented, but there’s no denying the iconic and unforgettable moments that occurred.

We saw the historic 350th episode which heavily revolved around Meredith and people from her past. There was a scary car crash inside Joe’s Bar. An original character exited the show in upsetting fashion. And another legendary doctor almost died from mysterious complications.

Even though a few characters moved on, we welcomed Richard Flood from Shameless, in addition to other guest stars such as Sherri Saum, Anthony Hill, Beanie Feldstein, Alyssa Milano, and Holly Marie Combs, just to name a few.

Lastly, if this is your first time viewing Grey’s Anatomy Season 16, you’ll notice an increased presence from several Station 19 characters as cross-overs became a near-weekly occurrence. Yes, cross-over relationships officially became a thing.
