Everything you need to know about the NCIS Season 18 premiere date

Grab your gear! Weeks after the hit CBS show NCIS went back into production for Season 18, we finally have a premiere date! It’s been months since we got to see NCIS Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs leading his team on weekly cases and we are thrilled to know when they will return on NCIS Season 18.

The procedural has been a long-time staple for CBS and it’s always exciting to see what they come up with for new cases. Now it looks as though we will get to see them in action after what has felt like a lifetime. Has it only been six months since we last saw the team? Let’s go over everything we know so far about the release date, synopsis, and more.

NCIS Season 18 release date

After shutting down early before finishing the final four episodes, the newest season is set to premiere on Tuesday, Nov. 17, just a little over a month from now!

As previously reported, NCIS has already started filming, which included a milestone with Episode 400.

NCIS Season 18 cast

The usual suspects from the main cast will be returning for the new season. This includes Mark Harmon, Sean Murray, Emily Wickersham, Rocky Carroll, Diona Reasonover, Brian Dietzen, and David McCallum.

We already know that Maria Bello will be leaving after eight episodes. Until then, we’re going to enjoy seeing Jack Sloane on our screens while we can.

NCIS Season 18 synopsis

As exciting as the premiere date is, we’re also excited to find out what awaits when the show returns! The synopsis of the season premiere episode teases that while the team is looking into the disappearance of a cadaver from autopsy, Gibbs and Fornell are on their own case.

Remember when Fornell’s daughter, Emily, overdosed on drugs? They are looking to find out who is leading the drug ring that provided the young girl with the drugs in question. We also know the episode title, which is “Sturgeon Season.”

There is no trailer yet for the new season. Production just started, but hopefully, we will get something in the coming weeks with how close the premiere is! We will keep you updated about the trailer and more as information comes about Season 18.
