Season 11 of Bob’s Burgers has been full of ups and downs. As odd as it might sound, it hasn’t all been related to what’s been happening on the show. Rather, Season 11 of Bob’s Burgers has been jerked around to put it simply. It looked like we were going to get Valentine’s Day episode on Valentine’s Day and then it pushed back due to a Nascar delay.

Additionally, the show ended up having to take an almost two-month hiatus due to the different events scheduled on Fox. No matter what happens, it seems like the Belchers and the rest of the animation domination line-up are being dealt a bad hand.

As for the Belcher family though, things don’t seem to get any easier as they’re almost always dealing with something completely unpredictable or trying to get out of a sticky situation.

Thus far in Season 11, we’ve watched as the family dealt with a pandemic of their own, rifts between family members, and on Valentine’s Day, possibly being shut-down. Nevertheless, the family never decides to give up as proven by the longevity of the series and hopefully, proven by the episode following Valentine’s Day which is “Die Card, or Card Trying.”

Usually, this would be a list complied with Linda’s best hair-brained schemes but we’re keeping it simple this week.

Before getting started, there will be spoilers from Season 11’s “Die Card or Card Trying.” With that spoiler warning out of the way, let’s break down the five best moments from the episode.

Here are the five best moments from Bob’s Burgers episode, “Die Card, or Card Trying.”

Linda’s revelation

The first moment comes via Linda. The episode starts off with Linda taking down the Christmas decorations and feeling slightly depressed. She takes almost everything down aside from the Christmas cards they received.

Linda’s hurt when she realizes that they didn’t get as many cards as usual. Linda decides it’s because the family didn’t send out cards to anyone. To try and amend that problem, she decides to make the family take a belated Christmas card picture.

The camera hijinks

The second unforgettable moment comes when the Belchers finally get up to the lookout where they want to take the picture. Linda’s very excited and gets way too enthusiastic but nothing seems to work out right for them. At first, the family can’t get the camera to work out right especially the timer. Everyone tries but nothing works and even with Bob behind the camera, the family doesn’t get a good picture.

Linda even asks a hiker to help them and things don’t turn outright. Eventually, Linda’s able to get the perfect picture from the family but there’s another set of camera hijinks when Linda accidentally trips, dropping the camera but she’s able to catch it. It seems alright until Linda’s arm gets caught between rock with her having to choose between breaking the camera or getting her arm out.

Bob’s juice obsession

The next unforgettable moment came via Bob and his juicer. At the beginning of the episode, Bob got a juicer and was thrilled about it. After Linda gets stuck, the family decides to drink out of the thermos they brought and Gene is shocked to find Bob brought his juice. In the next scene, we see Bob singing to his juicer and talking about how much he loves it which is just absurd but totally Bob.

Louise’s quick thinking saves the day

The next best moment comes at the end of the episode when Louise comes up with a master plan. She solved the puzzle she got for Christmas and decides to use that knowledge to try and get Linda out. She suggests turning Linda upside down as a way to get her arm unstuck and keep the camera safe. It’s such an unexpected moment but it all works out in the end when they’re able to get Linda’s arm unstuck and keep the picture Linda was so happy about.

The end credits of the episode

The final moment that really made the episode actually happened during the end credits. During the credits, we get to see all the Belcher family’s previous holiday “fail pictures.” Even though Linda was disappointed about them, most of them were pretty hilarious. It was also a surprisingly sweet way to end the episode. Hopefully, we’ll get a little bit more backstory on some of the other pictures in the future.
