Bob’s Burgers: 5 best moments from Fingers-loose
Season 11 of Bob’s Burgers has been interesting. In particular, it’s been nice to see the Belchers breaking out of their shells a little bit. Yes, it’s still the family we love but Season 11 has poised a lot of interesting challenges. In particular, the show has been dealing with the pandemic like the rest of the world, making for an interesting situation for both the cast and crew.
However, one thing has stayed consistent when it comes to Bob’s Burgers, though. The show hasn’t strayed away from its character-driven episodes. In fact, the last three episodes have focused on single characters as a consistent part of the plot. As always, Tina seems to get the most attention of the group as evidenced by Episodes 16 and 17 both getting focused on her.
In Episode 16, we saw Tina fall in love with a tape and start to lose track of her priorities. It wasn’t an unlikely Tina moment but one that did seem out-of-character at points. Looking ahead at Episode 17, we’re going back to one of Tina’s past interests and seeing how it reintroduced to the series. Obviously, I won’t be talking about any spoilers until we look at the best moments but a little hinting shouldn’t hurt.
With that being said, there will be spoilers from Bob’s Burgers episode, “Fingers-loose.” If you have watched, then feel free to skip ahead so we can compare notes on which moments from the episode were best.
Here are the five best moments from Bob’s Burgers episode, “Fingers-loose.”

Staring things off in the episode, the one moment that stood out most was the tone of the episode and that Tina was narrating basically everything that was happening. We usually don’t see this in any of the episodes and it was a unique way to tell the story.
Tina has her own way of unveiling the story so it’ll be interesting to see how this plays out for the rest of the episode. While it’s not technically a “moment,” it’s a huge part of the episode so it’s fair game.
Tina finding out the truth
The second best moment was when Tina finds out the secret Mr. Frond wants her to uncover. She decides to follow a group of kids to the boiler room and then realizes that her siblings are a huge part of this “underground club.”
She finds out that a lot of the students are spending their lunch periods, doing some finger-dancing or “handy prancing” as Gene called it. It’s such an unusual thing to do but Louise decides to cash in and hopefully, make some money while showing off Gene’s new skills.
Tina’s finger-dancing song
The next unforgettable moment has to be when Tina tries her “hand” at finger-dancing. She really gets into it and even has a little fantasy of herself being a hand. It also features a short little song that she sings about being free and it’s a surprisingly fun yet sad moment.
It’s clear that Tina feels a little bit trapped as she enjoys being a hall monitor but she enjoys finger-dancing and doesn’t want to tattle on her siblings. It was interesting to see Tina finally get a chance to walk on the wild side and try not to be such a goody-two-shoes.
Teddy’s theater treat
While Tina was dealing with things, Bob and Linda decided to try and help Teddy. He wanted to figure out a way to bring burgers into the movie theater. He talks about how he freaked out the last time and he decides to enlist Bob and Linda for help.
The two decide to help him and it’s going great until he starts feeling the pressure from both of them, resulting in him crying and running out of the restaurant. It’s a classic throwback to Bob and Linda trying their hands at the science fair with their different spice ideas.
Tina’s assembly trick and a confession
The final unforgettable moment had to be when Tina decides to hijack Mr. Frond’s video and instead she decided to surprise Louise and Gene. She decides to do her own finger-dancing number and even gets people from the boiler room involved.
It’s such a cute idea and it’s a nice way to get her siblings to forgive her until Tina gets a special visitor at home. Gene admits that he was the one who told Frond because he missed being able to eat lunch and it’s a surprising plot twist to end the episode with.
