Bob’s Burgers: 5 best moments from Some Kind of Fender Benderful
If there’s one running theme on Bob’s Burgers, it’s that the Belcher family has had their fair share of accidents. Whether it’s because of themselves, other people, or just a general lack of awareness, the restaurant, and the family inside of it are extremely accident-prone.
It might just be the curse of the Belchers but nothing ever seems to go the way they want or something minor unravels the entire plan of what they’re supposed to be doing.
Looking back at the previous seasons, we saw Tina wreck the Belcher’s car in Season 3, resulting in them making an even bigger mistake with their insurance agent. The Belchers almost wrecked a seaplane in Season 4 and then, a holiday accident occurred in Season 5. It’s clear that accidents are a running theme when it comes to the Belchers and the sentiment is something that’s still being featured in the series years later.
Season 11 has already featured a few accidents, but the biggest is yet to come. With a title like “Some Kind of Fender Benderful,” it does give a few ideas of what the episode could be about. In true Belcher fashion though, nothing is too predictable as evidenced by the previous episode, “Fingers-loose.” However, hopefully, the family will find a way to repair some damages and hopefully, figure out their problems.
Before getting into the best moment, there are going to be spoilers for “Some Kind of Fender Benderful.” If you aren’t caught up on Season 11 of Bob’s Burgers, then this is your spoiler warning.
These are the five best moments from Bob’s Burgers episode, “Some Kind of Fender Benderful.”
The Belchers kids candy argument
The first unforgettable moment starts with the Belcher kids having an argument which is a rarity as Linda told them they could share a bag of candy. It starts off with Gene hogging the candy while Tina is picking out some candy for herself and Louise is trying to convince Tina that she’s going to keep it in her mouth. Eventually, Linda gets sick of it and decides to take the candy away from them after they’ve already been fighting over the bag. It’s a unique way to start the episode and sets the precedent for what’s to come.
The Fender Benderful
The second best moment comes from Bob’s unfortunate accident with the people in front of the restaurant. Not only does Bob get hit from behind, but he also hits someone in front of them and then they hit the person in front of them. Bob is understandably trying to figure out what happened and find out who is at fault. It’s a huge mess to start the episode with and with all of them playing the blame game, it only makes things even more confusing to figure out who is truly at fault.

The third best moment from “Some Kind of Fender Benderful” has to be when Graham decides to talk to Bob and tries to proposition him so that they won’t be at fault.
Graham explains that Patty’s going to have a story about them so they should have a story about her to take the blame off of them. Since Bob doesn’t agree, Graham goes outside to try to make a similar plan with Patty and it’s clear that they’re trying to pin the crash on Bob until the cops arrive.
Elaine’s zany conversation with Bob
The next best moment from Bob’s Burgers has to be when Bob goes over to talk to Elaine. Since she’s a clown, she doesn’t take any of it seriously. Bob keeps trying to talk to her but she starts by making balloon animals, making faces, pulling scarves out of her pocket, and generally being distracting. It’s a great way to break the tension in the episode and makes things a little bit funnier. It’s a short and fun moment that most might not think about but it makes the episode more light-hearted for a second.
Bob’s responsible daydream
The final unforgettable moment came in the end when everyone truly admitted that they were all at fault. For Patty, she was distracted by the dog on her dashboard, Graham was on his phone while Bob didn’t use his turn signal. The three of them decide to sing a song about it and then eventually, the officer and Elaine join it. It’s such an unlikely moment and rightfully so since it was all in Bob’s head. Ultimately, Bob ends up taking all of the blame so it doesn’t work out for him but he did the right thing in the end.
Bob’s Burgers airs Sundays on Fox at 9/8c.
