Bob’s Burgers: 5 best moments from Steal Magazine-olias
As Season 11 of Bob’s Burgers is starting to wrap up, it’s nice to think about how far the show has come. 2020 was a hard year but the series didn’t let the pandemic stagger it. Rather, the show seemed to be a small beacon of hope since we were all stuck at home. Even though the Belchers didn’t have to deal with a pandemic, the family still had their hands full of other things.
One recipe for success on Bob’s Burgers especially in Season 11 has been how the writers have included side characters into this season. In a year where most people couldn’t be around their families, the show made sure to include a plethora of well-known characters and characters who haven’t appeared much. It was a fun way to show us a little bit of normalcy in the world of Bob’s Burgers.
Thus far in Season 11, we’ve seen appearances from Gayle, Regular-Sized Rudy, Mort, and Linda’s parents. All are characters we’ve come to know and even if we don’t love them, seeing them reappear is always fun.
No spoilers for the upcoming Season 11 episode but one infamous side character will be reappearing as well. It’s been a while since they’ve been part of an episode so shenanigans are sure to ensue.
If you haven’t watched “Steal Magazine-olias,” there will be spoilers from the episode from this point on. If you have, then be sure to let us know your favorite moments. Let’s break down the best moments from “Steal Magazine-olias.”
Let’s talk about the five best moments from Bob’s Burgers ep, “Steal Magazine-olias.”
The magazine that started it all
The first moment comes when the kids are in the dentist’s office and they end up seeing a magazine which they quickly all become obsessed with. For Gene, he’s able to finish a Dots n Bots game while Tina becomes obsessed with a cartoon fox. As for Louise, she gets beaten by Gene in the game and she’s obviously very upset. It’s a nice start to the episode and gives us an idea of what the rest of the episode will entail.

Gene’s confession
The second best moment from “Steal Magazine-olias” comes when Dr. Yap shows up to Bob’s Burgers. Obviously, the reason is that he believes that the kids stole a magazine from his waiting room.
It’s clear that his hunch is right as Gene pulls Tina and Louise into the kitchen where he admits that he’s the one who stole the magazine and obviously, they’re both very shocked. It’s clear that Tina feels a little bit excited though as she’s able to get another peek at her fox cartoon crush.
Bob’s poopy clean-up
The third best moment comes when Bob tries to clean bird poop off the window. It’s a huge stain at the very top of the window and Bob decides to use a broom with a sponge attached to it to try and clean it up. He obviously fails and ends up smearing more poop on the window. It’s even funnier as Linda tried to tell him that waiting for Teddy was a better idea and even a passer-by tells Bob that his idea isn’t working.
Louise’s plan to save the Belchers bedtime
Moving onto the next Bob’s Burgers moment, it has to be when Louise decides to come up with a plan to return the magazine. Since Dr. Yap moved his car, she decides that they should sneak the magazine back into the car and they won’t get blamed since Dr. Yap won’t have a way to prove that they did it.
Of course, things don’t go according to plan as Tina starts to crack under the pressure from Dr. Yap while Gene and Louise manage to sneak the magazine back into his car. It’s all good until Dr. Yap realizes that a page from the magazine is missing.
The Belchers kids new bedtime
The final unforgettable moment from the episode has to be when the kids finally get what they’ve been asking when it comes to their bedtime. They end up getting to go to bed later than normal and no doubt most of us can relate as it’s cool to stay up late when you’re younger.
However, the kids end up getting too tired and don’t end up having a chance to enjoy their later bedtime. It’s a pretty funny way to end the episode and proves that a later bedtime for them seemed like a good idea but just doesn’t work in the end.
Bob’s Burgers airs Sundays on Fox at 9/8c.
