How to watch on TV

The three-hour show begins at 8 p.m. ET and goes on until 11 p.m. ET. The main way to watch the star-filled event live is on CBS. The network is available with a cable provider. How to watch on streaming

The Golden Globes 2024 are also available to stream live on Paramount+ if you have the Paramount+ with Showtime tier. That subscription costs $11.99/month. However if you have the Paramount+ Essential tier, then you'll have to wait to watch the awards show the next day on Monday, Jan. 8 on the streamer. It costs $5.99/month.

Golden Globes 2024 categories

There's a total of 27 categories, and the 81st annual Golden Globe Awards will be hosted by stand-up comedian and actor Jo Koy. There's so many great noms this year, and we're excited to see who will take home the accolades for Best Movies, Best Actors, Best TV Shows, and more.

Barbie and Oppenheimer scored the most nominations out of any other project in the movie category. The Margot Robbie-led film has nine nominations, with the Christopher Nolan movie just behind with eight nominations. Killers of the Flower Moon is another production I enjoyed this year, and the film has been nominated for a total of seven categories.

I'm so excited to see who comes out the victor! There's so many great films and series, it's a shame only one can win in each category. But in all honesty, I think Barbie is going to dominate, and the film certainly deserves to win all the awards! We shared the full list of Golden Globes categories below:
