Tune in to 2024 BAFTA Awards in the U.S. with this watch guide
Awards season just keeps on rolling! We've had Golden Globes 2024, the 2024 Emmys, and even the 2024 Grammys for music. And up next, we're getting ready for the 2024 BAFTA Awards! The event will honor and recognize the movies from 2023, and a bunch of our favorite stars will take home the iconic BAFTA mask.
The 2024 BAFTA Awards air live today, Feb. 18, 2024, from the Royal Festival Hall in London's Southbank Centre. The ceremony is hosted by Doctor Who actor David Tennant, and I think that is just so fun! I know he'll do a great job. The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Awards take place in, well, Britain. Though that doesn't mean those of us here in the U.S. can't watch it.
So how can you tune in? Where will the event be streaming and what time does it start here? We've got all the answers for you below!
How to stream BAFTA Awards 2024
The good news is that there is a way to stream the event live. The 77th British Academy Film Awards will be available to stream live on BritBox in the U.S. The two-hour awards ceremony begins at 2 p.m. ET and comes to an end at around 4 p.m. ET.
Release time by time zone
- Eastern: 2 p.m. ET to 4 p.m. ET
- Central: 1 p.m. CT to 3 p.m. CT
- Pacific: 11 a.m. PT to 1 p.m. PT

BritBox is currently running a special offer. If you sign up today, you can get a subscription to the platform for $9/month for three months. This is running until Feb. 20, 2024. After that, it will cost $26.97/month to keep the subscription. There is also an annual plan available for $89.99/month. If you divide that by 12, it comes out to being almost $7.50/month. The good news is that BritBox does not have any ads in either of its plans.
If you have Prime Video, then you can add a BritBox subscription through your account. The streamer is running a 7-day free trial promotion. It will then cost $8.99/month to keep the British streaming platform on your Prime Video account.

If you're in the United Kingdom, then the BAFTAs will be available through BBC on TV or BBC iPlayer online. The ceremony is also going to stream in other countries on BritBox and other platforms. For a full list of where you can watch, click here.
