After getting the answers we needed about Jack’s death, there are still a few things we want to see in Season 2 of This Is Us.

Looking back to where it started, the second season of This Is Us has covered quite a bit of ground. From Jack’s alcoholism to his nearly marriage-ending fight with Rebecca to the Big Three’s continued ups and downs, these 18 episodes have featured a ton of tear-inducing drama — and we still have three episodes to go until the season finale. But which most anticipated moments have yet to play out on screen?

Granted, there are years of Pearson drama — in the past, present, and future — we haven’t seen. Some of us just want a glimpse at Jack and Rebecca’s early relationship, or even how she and Miguel went from Facebook friends to married. We asked the fans on Twitter and Facebook what they hope to see in the final three episodes of Season 2, and these were their responses. The This Is Us fans have spoken, and here are five things the series needs to dig into whether this season or next!

1. Jack and Rebecca’s courtship

This Is Us showed us how they met, how they got married, and even how they conceived their triplets. (For those who forgot, it was Super Bowl Sunday and Rebecca had just expressed that she maybe didn’t want to have children. So much irony.) But we haven’t really gotten to see much of their time as young lovebirds on the road to true love.

2. See also: Miguel and Rebecca’s courtship

Miguel and Rebecca’s relationship remains one of the more puzzling aspects of This Is Us. How does one end up married to your late husband’s best friend? It seems that they may have drifted apart after Jack’s death but reconnected via Facebook some years later. We need to witness this second chance love connection firsthand!

3. Kate and Toby’s wedding

Kate and Toby have been unofficially engaged since midway in the first season and officially engaged since the beginning of the second, but where’s the wedding? Prior to Kate’s miscarriage, they had planned to swap vows at the courthouse, but Kate changed her mind in favor of an actual celebration with the white dress and the whole nine. It’s probably wishful thinking that a wedding will be squeezed in before the season finale, but fans are getting impatient.

4. Nicky Pearson

It’s about time This Is Us makes good on its promise to introduce Jack’s brother, right? Way back in the first third of the season, it was revealed that Jack had a brother who fought alongside him in Vietnam, which ultimately cost him his life. We’re asking for — no, demanding — more flashbacks of young Jack and flashbacks to Jack in war with Nicky.

5. More future Tess!

You can’t just flash forward to the future and never do it again, right? Let’s add another timeline to the Pearson story and dive into grown-up Tess’ life as a social worker placing children into foster homes. Also, we already have tons of questions about future Randall. What’s he up to? Why wasn’t Beth with him? Are we going to see the rest of the Big Three in the future? This show never lets us breathe.
