Supernatural’s Benny showed up in NCIS Season 15, Episode 18. It’s a vision of an alternate version of Dean Winchester’s vampire best friend.

We’d all love for Benny to come back, right? Okay, well maybe not everyone and it’s perfectly okay if you don’t like him, but Ty Olsson’s character in Supernatural Season 8 certainly stole the hearts of many fans. We quickly learned that he was a vampire in purgatory, who ended up being a good guy that just couldn’t live in the world after so many years gone.

With the arrival of the Apocalypse World, there was the chance of seeing past characters return. Well, NCIS has hinted that we may not want to see an alternate version of Benny back. He’s not that nice. If you want to find out more about Olsson’s character, this NCIS recap takes you through the best moments of the night. Olsson’s character was nicknamed Bomber #1 throughout.

More from Supernatural

It’s not the first time we’ve seen Olsson play a bad guy. iZombie Season 1 comes to mind, as a dirty cop. He certainly plays the bad guy well, but there are also times that we just love to see him as the misunderstood good guy; a potential best friend to a main character.

This also isn’t the first time we’ve seen a Supernatural-NCIS crossover. Okay, technically not a crossover, but it’s fun to image crossovers happening when our favorite characters guest star. Earlier this season, Travis Wester guest-starred in an episode with a ghost from the past.
