It was a packed weekend at the movies! Four films opened in theaters — Ocean’s 8, Hereditary, Hotel Artemis, and Won’t You Be My Neighbor — which one was a success? The box office numbers are in!

From the four new debuts, only three can be found on the top ten. In the countdown, you’ll also find Deadpool 2, proudly hanging on to the top three. As for the number one movie this past weekend, there can only be one! And that honor goes to the ladies in Ocean’s 8!

Critics and fans seem to agree, Ocean’s 8 is great, but it could have been even better (and a lot more fun). Still, the star-studded movie gathered $41.5 million domestically and $12.2 million overseas for a grand total of $53.7 million. The reported budget for the movie was $70 million, so the film still has a bit to go before it makes any profit, but we’re sure it’ll get there in a few more days.

Solo: A Star Wars Story is in second place with $15.1 million. Its worldwide sum is now $312.2 million. Following close behind is Deadpool 2 in third with $13.6 million. With a reported budget of $110 million, Deadpool 2 now has $655.2 million.

In fourth place sits Hereditary with $13 million. The movie has yet to open overseas, so more money will surely be added to its total. The budget is not known. Still, $13 million is better than what Hotel Artemis collected, $3.1 million. The movie, which stars Jodie Foster, Sterling K. Brown, Jeff Goldblum, and more, settled for eight place.
