If you’re going to SDCC 2018 to see the Supernatural panel, you will need to know more than just the panel time. Parking can be a nightmare, so if you’re planning on driving, this is the information you need.

Parking is an absolute nightmare at most comic cons. Personally, I’ve never driven to a con. I like to take public transport or stay at a hotel within walking distance. There are a lot of people who will choose to drive to SDCC 2018, though. You’ll need this information to avoid missing the Supernatural panel on Sunday morning.

The good news is San Diego Comic Con is ready for you and has teamed up with a couple of parking companies in the local area to make sure there are plenty of spaces. You can find out all the details at the official website.

I highly recommend booking in advance when it comes to parking. There are a few advantages to this, but the biggest one is that you’ll already have prepaid and will be guaranteed a spot in one of the parking lots.

You can book and print out the confirmation, which will go in your windscreen and will be used on exit, or you can keep everything on your phone. The latter will mean showing one of the parking attendants, so you can be issued an exit card to get out.

The options for parking are already available. You can book for a specific lot, so you can plan your route (highly recommended) and make sure you’re as close to SDCC 2018 for the Supernatural panel as possible.

What time to get parked

Each lot will have its own opening and closing times. I recommend that you get there as early as possible. Some of the lots offer overnight parking, which is worth considering for the Supernatural panel. After all, being there in the middle of the night is highly recommended, because Hall H lines will fill up fast! There were people unable to get into the panel last year it was so popular.

It really is a case of the earlier the better. If you’re going to be there all weekend, consider overnight lots where you can leave your car, especially if your hotel is close by.
