Netflix is officially not in talks with Timeless

It’s not great news for Timeless fans as Netflix has officially commented they are not in talks to save the recently canceled NBC series.
The fight to save Timeless is still going strong, but any hope Netflix would be the ones to step in and save the time travel series have officially evaporated. It was announced during the TCA that Netflix is not in talks to save the show.
If it is any consolation to all the Clockblockers out there, it is not only their beloved Timeless that has been declared off the table, Shadowhunters fans took a similar blow as well as they were also not in negotiations with Netflix.
With this breaking news, it raises the question over what is happening behind the scenes over at Timeless.
Cindy Holland says she’s not aware of any real conversations about Netflix saving #Timeless. And nothing happening with #Shadowhunters there, either. (Netflix didn’t renew #Shadowhunters’ producers Constantin Films deal, which led to cancellation as Freeform couldn’t afford it.)

Something is certainly going on behind the scenes. During SDCC, Goran Visnjic hinted that big news was coming soon. This was then followed up by other Timeless stars. Even the writers have made it clear the fight continues and news is coming at some point.
Speculation over if the recently canceled USA Network series Colony might be an indicator Timeless would be saved came next.

But the news every Clockblocker wishes to hear has still not arrived. In fact, no news has arrived, just winks and hints that something is coming.

It’s a painful time to be a Timeless fan. I just really hope when the news does come, it is the news everyone deserves; because everyone has fought tooth and nail to get Rufus back.
