What’s on your Christmas list this year? Money? Clothes? New socks? (Admit it, you need them, and you’re not buying them for yourself.) Well, if you happened to scribble “Justin Hartley dancing provocatively in a Santa costume,” then you’re in luck. No, This Is Us isn’t going burlesque. But all bets are off for A Bad Moms Christmas.

Longtime fans of Justin Hartley have followed him from Smallville to Emily Owens, M.D. to The Young and the Restless to This Is Us, but they haven’t seen him quite as unrestrained as he will be when the Bad Moms sequel, A Bad Moms Christmas, arrives in theaters on Nov. 3. The film stars Mila Kunis, Kathryn Hahn, and Kristen Bell as their instantly iconic characters Amy, Carla, and Kiki, but this time around they aren’t battling the PTA moms; they’re taking on Christmas. While the moms will have to contend with creating the perfect Christmas for their children, they will also be faced with each of their mothers (played by Christina Baranski, Susan Sarandon, and Cheryl Hines) coming to visit for the holiday. But who will Justin Hartley play? That’s the best part.

Hartley will play Ty Swindle, who appears to be a new love interest for Kathryn Hahn’s Carla. Now, we don’t want to give away anything featured in the trailer (that’s something everyone must experience for themselves), but Carla and Ty will be thrust into a rather intimate moment during a waxing session. And here’s a hint: Carla’s doing the waxing.

With his role in A Bad Moms Christmas, Justin Hartley leaves his This Is Us character, Kevin Pearson, behind for a wild comedy romp. After all, could you imagine Kevin Pearson signing up for a role in an R-rated comedy blockbuster following his outburst on the set of The Manny? He’s off making movies with Sylvester Stallone while his real life counterpart is making them with badass bad moms. For fans, both scenarios are win-win.
