Here's where you know the cast of Madame Web from

Madame Web is ready to kick off a wild new branch of the Spider-Man movies. With a stellar cast of four actresses playing these superheroes, here's a quick look at where you'd know each of the stars from!

Sony has been trying to build up their own "Spider-Verse" of movies that differs from the MCU. Spider-Man: No Way Home established the world of The Amazing Spider-Man movies is different from the MCU Earth and the studio is trying to make various spin-off films work.

That already includes Venom as well as the ill-fated Morbius, with Kraven soon coming. Madame Web puts a spin (no pun intended) on the Spider-Man characters. Cassandra Webb is an EMT who receives visions of disasters and tries to stop them. She soon allies with Julia Cornwall, Mattie Franklin and Anya Corazon, who are hunted by the brutal Ezekiel. It seems all four are destined to become heroes, and Ezekiel wants to stop that from happening.

With the trailers pushing the wild action and heroics, the cast should make it shine. So where do you know the actors from? Let us refresh your memory.

Dakota Johnson as Cassandra "Cassie" Webb / Madame Web

The daughter of Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith, Dakota Johnson started with minor roles in films like The Social Network. She exploded to stardom with her starring role in the smash hit Fifty Shades film series, showcasing some daring scenes. Johnson has added to it with Black Mass, Susperia, and other films.

Johnson plays Cassandra, who takes up a mentor role with the other ladies while also adjusting to her own strange powers of prediction. Johnson seems set to add another blockbuster franchise to her belt.

Sydney Sweeney as Julia Cornwall / Spider-Woman

After roles in various TV shows like Pretty Little Liars, Sydney Sweeney caught attention in the HBO series Sharp Objects. Her turn as a psychiatric patient became bigger as it went, giving the Washington native more attention. After a turn on The Handmaid's Tale, Sweeney exploded to stardom with her role as Cassie on the HBO hit Euphoria, earning her an Emmy nomination. 

Another nomination followed for Sweeney's role in The White Lotus. She's also starred in the Prime Video movie The Voyeurs, Reality, and the box office hit Anyone But You. Sweeney plays Julia Cornwall, and is shown donning the costume of Spider-Woman to add a comic book film to her impressive slate of credits. 

Celeste O'Connor as Mattie Franklin / Spider-Woman

Born in Kenya, Celeste O'Connor gained attention with roles in the horror movie Freaky and Ghostbusters: Afterlife, which she'll reprise in the upcoming Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire. O'Connor has also added credits in A Good Person. 

O'Connor plays Mattie Franklin, who gains special abilities to become another version of  Spider-Woman. Given her experience already with CGI with the Ghostbusters movie, O'Connor should be able to handle this huge boost to her career. 

Isabela Merced as Anya Corazon / Araña

The 22-year-old Cleveland native is no stranger to big-budget projects. After roles in the Nickelodeon shows 100 Things To Do Before High School and Dora and Friends, Isabel Merced moved into live-action films such as Dora and the Lost City of Gold and Transformers: The Last Knight. She also starred in Instant Family and Rosaline.

In the film, Merced plays Anya Corazon, who becomes the empowered Araña. With her experience in CGI films already, she should make the jump into a comic book movie with ease. 

Tahar Rahim as Ezekiel Sims

The 42-year-old French actor broke out with the 2009 drama A Prophet, winning two César Awards, including Best Actor. Tahar Rahim has continued steady work, mainly in France, but earned a Best Actor Oscar nomination for The Mauritanian. He also starred in the TV shows The Looming Tower and The Serpent. 

Rahim's role of Ezekiel is intriguing as the character is more a hero in the comics but now takes on a villainous role hunting the women down. It's Rahim's first try at a CGI-heavy blockbuster, but he might pull it off with his great talent. 

Mike Epps

Mike Epps role in Madame Webb is mostly secret. The actor has scores of credits under him such as a few of the Hangover, Friday and Resident Evil movies, Survivor's Remorse and slews of game show appearances. He's likely in a "comic relief" role for this movie, which makes sense, given his fun sense of humor that always comes alive in his roles. 

Emma Roberts as Mary Parker

The cast list for the movie indicates Emma Roberts plays Mary Parker, who is Peter's mother, hinting that the movie is a prequel to the Spider-Man mythos. While that's up in the air, Roberts is well known as the niece of Julia Roberts who has carved out her own great career.

After the Nick series Unfabulous, Roberts moved from kids movies to daring roles in Scream 4, We're the Millers and great turns in American Horror Story and Scream Queens. She may not don a costume in the film but Roberts should be good in a small part. 

Adam Scott as Ben Parker

Peter Parker's uncle is famous for his death and inspiring his mantra, "With great power comes great responsibility." Adam Scott seems to be playing a younger version of Ben. It's uncertain how that works in the story. What is known is Scott is capable of both humor and drama, from his breakout on Parks and Recreation to his recent turn in the acclaimed drama Severance. If he mixes both of those into the role, it should show just where Peter got his good sense of responsibility. 

With such a high-powered cast, Madame Web looks ready to be a big female-driven superhero action flick for Valentine's Day. 

Madame Web premieres in theaters Wednesday, Feb. 14.
