With 11 Emmy nominations, ‘This Is Us’ brought the awards power back to primetime, and its cast is reacting as you’d expect.

More from This Is Us

When the Emmy nominations for the 69th annual celebration of talent in television were announced Thursday morning, the cast and crew of This Is Us woke up to wonderful news. The NBC smash hit drama series scored a whopping 11 nominations, including the ultimate prize of the night: Outstanding Drama Series.

Not only does This Is Us have the bragging rights of being the sole broadcast series of the bunch, the tearjerker boasts double nominees for Outstanding Lead Actor. Sterling K. Brown, who won an Emmy Award last year for his role in The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story, will compete with one of his TV dads, Milo Ventimiglia, who earns his first ever Emmy nomination. Ron Cephas Jones and Chrissy Metz scored Emmy nominations in the supporting categories. It’s a Pearson family affair on Emmy night, all right. But how are the stars celebrating the show’s good fortune? Find out how the cast reacted to their 11 Emmy nominations below!

Sterling K. Brown kicked off the Emmy nominations celebration with a poignant and very Randall reaction. Proving he’s the nicest guy on television — next to only his on-screen alter ego — Brown thanked his This Is Us team members in a statement via Entertainment Weekly:

"Maaaaan, I got the best job on TV! Receiving this nomination is just the cherry on top. Thank you, Television Academy! From network to studio, cast to crew, writers, producers & directors–each and every one of you are second to none! Thank you all for making this the experience of a lifetime!Dan Fogelman…you are a cherub faced, literary assassin! I look forward to working with you for the rest of my life!Ryan, Andrew, & Amaré…you are my everything.Namaste"

Now that’s how you react to Emmy nominations! Brown also tweeted fan art depicting young Randall Pearson sitting with his two dearly departed fathers, Jack and William. Well, now had to go and hits us in our feels. But that’s par for the course, right?

Mandy Moore, who plays Mama Pearson on This Is Us, was shamefully shut out of the Emmy nominations because apparently went terribly, terribly awry in the voting process. Despite the tragic blindspot of Emmy voters, Moore isn’t half as bitter as we are and congratulated her fellow castmates on Twitter:

Susan Kelechi Watson, otherwise known as This Is Us’ resident badass (and Randall’s wife, Beth), also wasn’t nominated for her work on the series. For landing Beth’s razor-sharp reads with precision, she should nominated for everything. Watson also loved on her fellow Pearsons:

Justin Hartley turned in brilliant work as Kevin Pearson last season on This Is Us (that painting monologue!), but he didn’t earn any Emmy nominations this year in the ultra-crowded race. Hartley applauded the hard work of his fellow Pearsons in a sweet tweet:

Chris Sullivan tweeted a video of first-time Emmy nominee and on-screen wife-to-be Chrissy Metz getting made up for her first day on set for Season 2. These two are just as cute off screen as they are on.

Next: Mandy Moore was snubbed at the Emmys, and it's just not fair

Cheers to the hardworking and talented cast and crew of This Is Us on their amazing achievement! Are you excited for the Pearson family affair at this year’s big show? Let us know in the comments, and follow along on Twitter at @thisisuscrying for all the latest This Is Us coverage!
