Victor Henriksen is one of the characters who needs to return to Supernatural in Season 15. Here’s why he would make an excellent addition.

We already know of some characters returning to Supernatural Season 15. There is also talk of a few others returning. But one who hasn’t been mentioned is Victor Henriksen. To celebrate Charles Malik Whitfield’s birthday today, we’re looking at why this character needs to return to the final season.

Henriksen was introduced in the second season of the series and immediately became an FBI antagonist. That was until the third season when he learned the truth about what the brothers do. They’re not criminals but hunters saving the world, and Henriksen and Dean realize that there are a lot of similarities between them.

Unfortunately, the awesome ally between FBI and hunters was short-lived. Henriksen became one of the first on-screen victims of the demon Lilith in Supernatural Season 3. The potential that was there was never met.

While he did return as a spirit in Season 4, part of me has always wondered whether he was really him. He returned as a witness, breaking one of the seals to open Lucifer’s cage. Blaming Dean for his death, he was ready to kill the Winchesters and Bobby. However, part of me has always felt like the spirit was twisted in the breaking of the seal.

Henriksen wasn’t overly afraid of death. He knew what could happen in the war against the demons. Like Dean, he wouldn’t have allowed Nancy to be sacrificed to save them all and he wouldn’t have fully blamed the Winchesters for everything that happened.

This is part of the reason why we need to see Victor Henriksen in Supernatural Season 15. We need to know that he didn’t blame the Winchesters for his death. It’s time for the Winchesters to learn that spirits don’t blame them for things that happen.

With the souls of Hell out, there’s definitely a chance that the souls of Heaven could be released, too. I get the feeling this is where Henriksen should be (and if he did end up in Hell, then he gets free anyway). Henriksen would be one of the perfect allies with the Winchesters in the war against God. If there’s anyone to blame for his death, it’s God.

I want to see Henriksen and the Winchesters fight side-by-side again. I know the chances of getting Whitfield back for Supernatural Season 15 is slim (he’s a busy man just looking at his IMDb) but just at the very end for one episode? Please?
